Mistras has designed new 2 axis manual scanner for internal/external composite tube Ultrasonics inspection.
System is composed of turntable with movable jow and linear axis with 2 encoders.
Linear axis has phased array probe holder with 2 setting angles (set normal incidence). This scanner can be connected to any UT system and could be easily motorized (UTwin)
